Outsourcing

The Commercial Contracts and Technology/ IT teams regularly advise both suppliers and purchasers upon outsourcing projects.

The teams deal with projects ranging across local authority and government tenders, technology based initiatives and general business to business efficiency projects.

The teams work closely with the commercial litigation unit, ensuring that contract risk management is fully addressed at the front end of the procural process.

The firm's well resourced employment law team is also able to provide early specialist input upon staff consultation, due diligence and key TUPE issues.

Other specialists within the firm are involved, should projects require input on areas including competition law, intellectual property, commercial property and data protection.

Clients advised range from PLC and other household name businesses to government bodies and niche outsourcing and technology companies. From experience in advising on both sides of the procurement fence the team is able to provide early warning of likely negotiating issues, and prioritise the factors most likely to cause delay.
