Heather Cowley is a highly experienced commercial lawyer and the Head of Taylor Walton’s Employment Law team. She deals with all aspects of employment law including business reorganisations, TUPE, redundancies (including collective redundancies), employment tribunal proceedings, managing terminations including disciplinary and grievance procedure, discrimination, managing and implementing works councils and information forums, collective and trade union issues.
Heather is described as “terrifically energetic and personable” by the 2011 edition of the The Legal 500. It is an approach which she uses to very good effect, winning more than her fair share of new clients for the firm across a wide range of industry sectors.
Heather’s team acts for heavyweight companies such as Fujifilm UK on HR matters, with clients reporting an “excellent overall level of service” (The Legal 500, 2009 edition).
Life outside of Taylor Walton
As well spending time with her family, Heather is a keen horse woman and also enjoys reading and theatre going.
