Email MeRichard is a Partner in Taylor Walton’s Residential Conveyancing team and specialises in prime residential property, new homes and investment property. He also heads up the firms Relocation Unit which acts for blue chip corporate clients.
Having read law at Leicester University, he trained at the College of Law in Guildford before joining a regional law firm. He became a Partner in a specialist property practice in London and subsequently joined Taylor Walton in 1995.
Richard is actively involved in developing business for the Residential Conveyancing team and is a member of the firm’s Marketing Steering Group.
Outside Taylor Walton, Richard is chair of the Land Law Committee of the Hertfordshire Law Society and a member of the Council. He has been a member of the National Law Society’s Conveyancing and Land Law Committee, Conveyancing Task Force and is the circuit solicitor for the Harpenden Methodist Circuit.
Richard has written widely on conveyancing issues and is regularly quoted in both the national and specialist legal press. He has also acted as legal adviser on several BBC property programmes.
Richard is married with two sons. Outside interests include blues & jazz music, travel, wine and growing vegetables in his allotment.
