Tonmoy is a senior commercial solicitor in the Corporate and Commercial team based in Luton. He advises clients (both supplier & customer) on various commercial and corporate matters, particularly in regards to all aspects of commercial contract drafting and negotiating including agreements for managed services, IT, software licencing, hosting, cloud computing, distribution, framework and technology outsourcing.
Tonmoy was educated at St. John’s School, Enfield and the London School of Economics, from where he graduated in Law. He then completed the Bar Vocational Course at the Inns of Court School of Law in London and was subsequently Called to the Bar of England & Wales by Lincoln’s Inn.
Prior to working at Taylor Walton, Tonmoy has worked for an international e-commerce company, InterActiveCorp and a global Tier1 telecommunications company, NTT Communications, both in the capacity of Legal Counsel representing the EMEA regions, building up considerable experience and expertise in the technology sector over the last 10 years. In his last role, he had the opportunity to spend a year abroad in Mumbai, managing Legal Process Outsourcing and Litigation Document Review delivery teams, from where legal services were provided to Law Firms and Corporations throughout the US, Europe and Australia.
Outside of work, Tonmoy likes to spend time with his family and friends. He also enjoys foreign travel, the theatre/arts, dining out and listening to good music, whether it be live or in the comfort of his car whilst stuck on the M25.
